Today we we are talking with Ken Campbell the man who has discovered how to take the barley that fueled the ancient Gladiators and unlock its potential for robust health and strength in today's modern world. Ken is a scientist, agronomist, nutrition expert and inventor who has developed one-of-a-kind agricultural and scientific processes that amplify the health benefits that ancient barley provides. Thanks to Ken's discoveries and his revolutionary sprouted barley now you too can have strong bones, strength and endurance, just like the ancient Gladiators did. Plus it does a great job of detoxifying the body and removing inflammation so you can be Gladiator strong.
In this interview Ken will share the secrets that unlock Gladiator strength endurance and vitality with you.
Hello I'm Bob Gilpatrick. I'm the president and co-founder founder of Boomers Forever Young nutrition company and today we have a special guest with us Ken Campbell. Ken is an inventor an agronomist and he is the person who's responsible for producing some of our greatest products that thousands of people have used to improve their health.
How are you doing today?
Oh great here Bob.
One of the the products that we've had for 14 years now is a a product that's made from sprouted barley seeds and this isn't just any barley. This is special seed lines to start with, and then the way that it's grown and the way that it's processed and finally delivered to us in these jars that we can ship out around the world to people is really an amazing thing. What we're going to do is have Ken tell us a little bit about how he came up with the idea for creating this special sprouted barley product and also what the benefits would be for you. So Ken if you don't mind what gave you the idea back however many years ago to come up with this product how did this all come about with the barley?
It took me about seven years okay and it was more thinking. I was looking at the physiology of the seed how how germination works and I actually thought about it for about seven years. Originally it was designed as a chicken feed and so if any of your customers are you know getting up and crowing when the sun comes up, or they're scratching the the floor they know the reason for that!.. no but seriously... The big thing was to synchronize the the germination there's books there's encyclopedia sets on on germination but no one has ever been able to figure out how to synchronize the germination and then actually stabilize that sprouted seed so it doesn't deteriorate.
OK when you say germination you're talking about having a seed in this case a barley seed that's going to sprout...
yes
and the germination is the action of sprouting at the very beginning...
yes, right yeah
Now so when you say synchronization you're able to sprout many thousands of seeds all at the same time...
Yeah, it's kind of the same as you know a conductor in an orchestra. I mean you have all the different sections and within all those sections you know the conductor makes really the music. You can have all the musicians playing their parts and it's beautiful. See just like there's no two grains of sand the same, there's no two snowflakes the same, uh there's no two people in the world that are exactly the same however with our physiology we're able to digest foods if they are prepared a certain way. So the first thing that I needed to be able to do was to actually synchronize the germination. So why is the synchronization important?.. because you want the profile of the compounds that are in the Sprout to be the same.
Is it because you don't want to sprout one seed today, another one an hour later, another one tomorrow?
Exactly, exactly because what I want is the synchronization of the enzymes. There's over 4,000 different enzymes and uh depending on the ratios, that's where you're going to get your benefits so for example uh I can sprout seeds so that they're better for chickens or this is better for humans and so that's kind of where it started.
